Owners of Apple's new foldable iPhone Duo can now buy protective cases from multiple manufacturers. Prices range from $7 to $129. The variation depends on the material used and the level of protection provided for the device's folding mechanism.
Apple introduced the iPhone Duo alongside two purpose-built cases made of TechWoven fabric. These cases feature a kickstand design and MagSafe compatibility. They are currently available for purchase, though stock on Amazon is temporarily low. The company sold the phone and its initial accessories on Thursday.
Accessory makers have responded with a wide array of options. Pitaka offers an Edge Case for $50, down from a regular price of $60. It uses a precision-woven texture and a 3D coating. Spigen sells four different case models for the Duo. Prices range from $27 to $40. These include the Ultra Hybrid Pro and Air Fit Pro models, all featuring MagFit technology.
Leather options command higher prices. Nomad sells a Traditional Leather Folio for $129. It uses full-grain Horween leather. Burton Goods offers two leather cases with discount codes. The Heritage Leather Case costs $71 after a code is applied, while the Pocket Book Leather Case drops to $89. Both models feature full-grain materials.
Budget-friendly choices focus on basic protection. FNTCASE sells a translucent magnetic case for $7. This is the lowest price in the current lineup. Elago offers magnetic silicone cases for $20 and clear cases for $16. Baseus sells a case with a 360-degree rotating magnetic ring for $30. That case can also be obtained for free with the purchase of a specific power bank.
Other manufacturers include OtterBox, which sells a Defender Series Pro XT Case for $90 and a Lumen Clear MagSafe Case for $76. Torras offers magnetic stand cases for $70 and $90. ESR sells hybrid cases with flex stands for $40 and $60. Mkeke provides woven cases starting at $30. SANDMARC sells a pro leather case with an aluminum mount for $81 using a discount code.
Most listed cases include MagSafe support to allow for wireless charging and accessory attachment. Several models include stand features for hands-free viewing. FNTCASE and Baseus offer cases with specific hinge protection to shield the folding hardware. The market now spans from simple magnetic covers to premium leather folios.
Shoppers can compare these options immediately. Apple's TechWoven cases remain out of stock on some platforms. Other brands have active sales with discount codes available at checkout. The price gap between the cheapest and most expensive cases is $122.
