The Sleepy Hollow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce rescheduled its annual street fair to Sunday, Nov. 8, after repeated rainouts in October canceled the original date. The move extends the local holiday season into late autumn and gives merchants a second opportunity to capture weekend foot traffic in the village’s commercial district.

Beekman Avenue will close to vehicle traffic from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 8th. The pedestrian-only zone allows visitors to access 145 arts, crafts, food, and beverage vendors, as well as local shops that will open their doors and set up exterior tables. The event also includes live music and a children’s activity zone, all free to the public.

Lucia Ballas-Traynor, the chamber’s executive director, said the event serves as a key economic and social gathering point for the community. “The Sleepy Hollow Street Fair is one of our favorite traditions because it truly brings out the best of our community,” she said. “Whether you’ve lived here for generations or are visiting us for the very first time, there’s an extraordinary energy when our streets fill with local makers, eateries, and shops. We are thrilled to welcome everyone to celebrate the unique spirit and warmth that make Sleepy Hollow so special.”

The entertainment program centers on local history and live performances. Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk will perform in front of Ganso Ramen at the intersection of Beekman Avenue and Route 9/Broadway at 12 noon. A performer dressed as the Headless Horseman will appear at the same location from 1 to 4 p.m. The group Witches Along the Hudson will stage shows at Beekman Avenue and Pocantico Street at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Live music will take place at the Beekman Parking Lot entrance, presented by the BUMP. The lineup includes Scoot and Marlena of The Kulprits from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Brad & Nate of The Incumbents Acoustic from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m., the BUMP from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., The Altogether from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m., and Polish John from 4 to 5 p.m. Luis Enrique’s Andean Flutes Band will perform at the Beekman Lot near the top of Beekman and Route 9.

The village will open the East Parcel Parking Lot at 60 Continental St., but officials describe available parking as scarce. Visitors are encouraged to use public transit, with Metro-North stations in Tarrytown and Philipse Manor located less than a mile from Beekman Avenue. Drivers are advised to park in neighboring towns such as Irvington, Dobbs Ferry, Croton Harmon, or Hastings-on-Hudson before boarding the train.
